Society Türkiye: A New Link Between Türkiye and the World’s Real Estate Markets
Türkiye is entering a new chapter in its relationship with international real estate capital. With substantial transaction volumes, strong tourism flows, significant foreign-buyer activity and deep connections to both European and Middle Eastern markets, the country has become one of the most compelling real estate markets between Europe and the Gulf.
Yet the opportunity comes with complexity.
For international investors and high-net-worth families, navigating Türkiye’s real estate landscape can still mean dealing with fragmented market structures, differing standards of information and a highly localised transaction environment.
It is within this context that two partners of Society Network and the founders of Society International Real Estate have agreed to develop Society Türkiye.
The initiative represents more than the establishment of another local brokerage operation. It is intended to connect Türkiye more closely with Society’s international network of real estate professionals, investors, developers and private capital while providing Turkish clients with access to opportunities across Society’s global markets.
Why Türkiye, and why now?
Türkiye occupies a unique position at the intersection of Europe, the Middle East and Eurasia. Istanbul is a major commercial and financial centre, Antalya has established itself as a leading international tourism and residential market, while destinations such as Bodrum continue to attract global luxury demand.
The country’s scale and diversity create opportunities across multiple segments — from residential and branded residences to development, investment and hospitality.
At the same time, international investors increasingly require more than access to property. They are looking for reliable local intelligence, structured transactions, appropriate due diligence and a trusted international network capable of supporting them beyond the initial acquisition.
This is where Society believes it can make a difference.
A partnership built around international and local expertise
The team brings together on‑the‑ground Turkish expertise with international capital‑market experience, regulatory insight and access to Society’s global network, a combination that defines Society’s cross‑border approach.

Ufuk Çelik, MBA will lead Society Türkiye and oversee its day-to-day operations, market development and local execution. Based in Türkiye, he will be responsible for developing relationships with developers, investors and local partners, identifying opportunities and translating Society’s international platform into a strong local presence.
Şerafettin Yılmaz will support Ufuk through his extensive regional network and deep understanding of the Turkish real estate market. He will contribute expertise on regulatory and legal frameworks, real estate policy, development trends and valuation practices, while also supporting the development and localization of Society’s digital portal and market infrastructure in Türkiye.
Alexander Hartmann will support Society Türkiye through international marketing, brand positioning and access to Society’s global network of affiliates, investors and partners. He will also facilitate cross-border opportunities and connect the Turkish market with Society’s international real estate and capital markets ecosystem, drawing on his background in real estate economics, corporate finance and personal track record.
Jeffrey Asselstine will provide strategic oversight and support business development, institutional relationships and international transaction frameworks. Drawing on more than 18 years of experience in banking and real estate across major global markets, he will contribute to Society Türkiye’s long-term growth strategy and its development within the international capital markets ecosystem.
Three markets, three different opportunities
Society Türkiye’s initial focus is centred on three markets that represent distinctly different aspects of the country’s real estate landscape.
Istanbul – the international gateway
With its enormous population, commercial importance and position between Europe and Asia, Istanbul remains the country’s principal real estate and investment hub.
Prime districts including Beşiktaş, Şişli, Kadıköy and Beyoğlu offer a broad range of residential and investment opportunities, while the city’s scale provides significant depth of both domestic and international demand.
For Society, Istanbul represents the natural gateway for international capital entering Türkiye.
Antalya – the international lifestyle and investment market
Antalya combines a large tourism economy with strong international residential demand and direct connectivity to Europe and other major markets.
The city and its surrounding region have become particularly important to international property buyers, creating opportunities across residential development, investment and managed rental accommodation.
Society’s local partnership infrastructure provides access to established relationships and a growing portfolio of opportunities across the region.
Bodrum – Türkiye’s luxury destination
Bodrum occupies a different position within the Turkish market.
Its appeal is driven by lifestyle, international recognition and the scarcity of prime coastal land. The market has increasingly attracted high-net-worth buyers seeking luxury villas, branded residences and unique waterfront opportunities.
For Society’s global private-client network, Bodrum represents an important component of Türkiye’s luxury real estate proposition.
A two-way relationship with global capital
Perhaps most importantly, Society does not see Türkiye as a standalone market.
Society Türkiye will become part of the wider Society network, creating a two-way flow of real estate opportunities and capital.
From the Gulf, particularly from established wealth centres such as Doha and Dubai, Society can introduce international investors to selected opportunities in Türkiye.
At the same time, Turkish investors and families can access opportunities in established international markets through Society’s network including the United Kingdom, Germany, the UAE, Qatar and North America.
This reciprocal relationship is one of the key reasons for establishing Society Türkiye within the wider Society platform.
The objective is not simply to bring international buyers to Türkiye. It is to create a lasting connection between Turkish real estate and the global real estate ecosystem.
A measured approach to growth
Society’s expansion into Türkiye is deliberately structured as a measured rollout.
Rather than pursuing rapid geographic expansion, the initial strategy is focused on building the right local infrastructure, establishing trusted relationships and ensuring that opportunities presented through the Society platform meet the standards expected by international clients.
The soft launch begins with an established portfolio in Antalya and a growing selection of opportunities in Istanbul, with further markets and partnerships expected to develop over time.
This approach reflects a broader principle behind Society’s international expansion: local expertise matters, but international connectivity creates additional value.
A new chapter for Society
The creation of Society Türkiye marks another step in the evolution of Society International Real Estate and Society Network.
As Society continues to build a global platform connecting real estate professionals, investors and opportunities across markets, Türkiye offers a particularly compelling addition, a market with significant domestic depth, strong international demand and a unique geographical position between some of the world’s most important capital centres.
Society Türkiye is therefore not simply an expansion into another country.
It is designed as a two‑way bridge: bringing international capital into Türkiye while opening global markets to Turkish investors.
And for Society, it represents the beginning of what could become one of the most important new chapters in its international development.
